Teacher-powered schools is our term for schools where educator teams have autonomy and authority to collectively and collaboratively make school decisions in areas impacting student success.

This guide walks educators through the numerous phases and steps to creating a teacher-powered school. Embedded within it are an extensive collection of resources and tools that will be useful along the way.

Offering lessons learned and tips from the pioneers of existing teacher-powered schools, these discussion starters are interactive resources featuring sets of discussion questions for teacher teams to take up as a group as they design and continually improve their schools.

A guide addressing the unique opportunities and challenges that school administrators face using collaborative and distributed leadership models.
