Next month Education Evolving will be co-sponsoring three events hosted by Venture Academy and Silicon Valley-based Summit Learning on personalized learning in Minnesota.
Join us on Tuesday, February 7th with the Summit Learning team as they describe their free program to help schools implement personalized learning, and the software they are developing in collaboration with engineers at Facebook that tracks students’ personalized learning plans. Hear experiences from educators who are participating in a pilot of the program, and about how you can participate in this free program.
The evening before, on Monday, February 6th, join us for a screening and panel discussion of Most Likely to Succeed, a 2015 documentary highlighting the personalized learning experiences of students at High Tech High, where learning is multidisciplinary, project-based, and student-directed.
Later next month, on Wednesday, February 22nd, the Bush Foundation will be hosting a related event on The Power and Possibility of Individualized Learning. Hear from local educators, keynote speaker Sir Ken Robinson, and others about how individualized learning can make education more relevant for all students in our region.
This event is the first in a series of gatherings and conversations Bush will host this year as part of their growing strategic focus on individualized learning.
