Naytahwaush is a child-centered environment where learning is relevant. The school respects the traditions and wisdom of community, family and self. In 2006, 100 percent of the students were American Indian. Children are respected as individuals, as community members, and as ancestors of a rich cultural heritage. Experiential and service-learning activities enhance curriculum.
