About the Learning Program

The Downtown Institute of Arts and Letters (DIAL High School) is a rigorous, year-round arts and humanities high school with a curriculum emphasizing multicultural Great Books and Advanced Placement course preparation. DIAL features a downtown campus offering a flexible, modular class schedule. Students audition in six art areas: Art, Creative Writing, Dance, Film & Video, Instrumental Music-Orchestra/Jazz, and Theatre.
